104 SMD LEDs provide approx.   300 lux of illumination at 1 m (3.3 ft.) and 110° angle of radiation (half-value angle).   The brightness can be adjusted in 5 % increments from 10 to 100 %, the color temperature is adjustable in 100-Kelvin steps from 3200 Kelvin (artificial light / warm white) via 5600 Kelvin (daylight / neutral white) to 6500 Kelvin (daylight / cold white).   High color rendering index: CRI ≥ 96.   Flicker-free light, free from infrared and UV parts.

For creative arrangements of video recordings the light offers five hard-coded lighting effects (fireworks, explosions, candle-light/fire, TV simulation and popping-up flashbulbs) with changing brightness, flashing frequency and color temperature.   This can be used to simulate a running TV set or popping-up flashbulbs, for example.

The illuminated info screen shows brightness, color temperature, lighting effect and charge status of the lithium-ion battery.   Charging and operating the light can be done by connecting the supplied USB cable to a suitable USB charging adapter, a live USB port or a power bank.

An electronically stabilized light output keeps the set brightness constant when supply voltage goes down.   If the voltage is too low, the light switches to an energy-saving mode (brightness 10 %) and then automatically switches off after a few minutes to prevent deep discharge and battery defects.

The light has a solid light metal housing, equipped with 1/4" tripod thread at each narrow side and can be mounted to a suitable tripod, stand, ball head, hinged bracket etc. or with the included mounting foot to the camera’s accessory shoe.   The tripod threads are also suitable for attaching the light to a smartphone using threading adapter 6014 and smartphone mount 6015.

A slip-on diffusor screen ensures particularly soft light and a grid attachment (also included) can reduce the angle of radiation to 70°.
